Red and White Table Runner.
Patriotic Stars quilt.
This quilt was a block of the month series that started August 2022 and ended in May of 2023. It was my first time doing a BOM series. Each month I would receive the fabric for making two blocks for this quilt. The last month I received the fabric for doing the sashing, the cornerposts and the binding. With this quilt it was a first ever for me with techniques on the different stars used in this quilt top design.
When sewing the binding on I went to move the quilt just right to feed more fabric through my machine and realized I had bled on part of the white fabric in my quilt top. Earlier in the week I had bumped my arm against a cabinet door and bled. I had forgotten to cover that with a bandage before working with my quilt and in moving and bumping my arm yet again on the sewing machine it opened up the wound and as a result I bled on the quilt. As soon as I saw it I ran to get my bottle of hydrogen peroxide and using that was able to remove the bloodstain. So with that I'm going to say I shed blood with this project.
The quilt was long arm quilted last September and I asked her to do something star related possibly with fireworks. She did not disappoint. I got the quilt back and the quilting design has stars, swirls and fireworks going off.

Chain Links quilt.
I saw this quilt on a YouTube video from Jordan Fabrics. She had put her quilt together using the same set of jelly roll fabrics but her sashing was done with a light cream or ivory fabric.
I chose yellow as yellow is my favorite color and I wanted a yellow base or background with the autumn colors. Autumn is my favorite season. I love the fall colors and cooler temperatures. Where I live, farmers are busy in the fields harvesting their crops in the fall.
This took me one weekend to do from cutting fabric to machine sewing the last stitch. It was long arm quilted last September and I asked her for an autumn fall leaf type of design. She didn't disappoint. It's quilted using an acorn and oak leaf design.

Blue and White Log Cabin quilt.
This was a quilt kit. The log cabin strips were from a set of jelly roll fabrics. The kit contained the pattern, the set of jelly roll strips, and binding fabric. I purchased the backing fabric from a local quilt shop. I had my long arm quilter do one of my favorites for a quilting design which is a feather design. I've had her quilt this design in a large feather and in a small feather. With this quilt she used a smaller sized feather.

Fast forward to August of this year when I pulled out fabric and 18" doll clothes patterns. I had decided to start sewing doll clothes again.
